Introduction 

This module covers the rights of medication administration while exploring additional considerations when dispensing and administering medications on the sterile field. ORNAC (Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada) standards and the Institute for Safe Medication Practices Canada (ISMP) reports and initiatives are reviewed.
